Johnny and Valerie... a tragic tale

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful match
That started as a simple call
From Sam at the dispatch

The squad was flying on a run
A lady crossed the street
She didn't see the car until
It knocked her off her feet

John Gage helped the lady and she thought
That they should go on a date
He thought that he'd like to marry her
But, Roy said, "You should wait."

That Gage was determined and he thought
"My bachelor days are done."
Then, Sam could be heard over the PA,
Calling out, "Squad 51..."

They went to a house to save the day
It's a good thing that they did
When John's girl arrived, much to his surprise
She said, "These are my three kids"

The weather started getting rough
John's cookies soon were tossed
He wondered how he could tell this girl
He wanted her to get lost
He wanted her to get lost

His problem was solved, but he was mad
It left Roy rather stumped
"She's gone," said Roy. "It should make you glad."
Gage said, "But, I was dumped!"

So, Johnny's a bachelor once again

Love Potion 51

I took my troubles down to Doctor Ruth
That lady always tells the bitter truth
I looked for advice, but when my visit was done
She handed me a bottle of... "Love potion 51."

I told her that I was a flop with chicks
No nurse will talk to me except for Dix
The guys always tease, I'm not having any fun
She said, "What you need is, 'Love potion 51'".

She told me to drink it down while plugging my nose
It tasted like Roy's cooking, it was majorly gross
She pointed and she told me to look at the screen
I understood. I saw something... I'd never seen

Thousands of girls were glued to the tv
She told me all of them were hot for me
I really didn't know if I should stay or I should run
But, I owe this revelation to... "love potion 51."

I keep little bottles of this stuff hanging round
And every time another Rampart nurse turns me down
I take a little swig of it, and soon I can see
Those girls are tuned in wishing for... a date with me!

They like to watch me each and every night
They think I'm cute and my grin's outta sight
I even saw some Roy-lovers, Joanne would be stunned
I'd better not tell him about... "love potion 51."
