NOTICE TO NETSCAPE USERS: I
have restructured the site so Netscape users can have
sound if you have at least a 56K modem. Just
click here, To Netscape with Sound, and
you will be taken to a "mirrored" site with music. However, the mirrored site is NOT linked to our GREASE site. If
you have trouble downloading, just click your "Back"
button on your browser and begin your tour of our
site from this page without sound.
Mac users who were having problems viewing the site should just continue
on from this page and you shouldn't have any problems.
Internet Explorer users can disregard this message
completely unless you are having download problems
and want to give Netscape a try. There will still be
music on all pages if you use Internet Explorer as
your browser.
I hope this meets everyone's needs, especially JoAnn's 4th graders! Mike
While the Guild has produced many "stars" over
the years, now we invite you now to click on the 5 stars
below and begin your journey through our site. Who knows
...maybe you'll be our next star!
Last summer's musical production of
Anything Goes! was staged on
July 16, 17, and 18,
and
July 22, 23, and 24 1999
at Rice University's Hamman Hall.
Use entrance 13, 1st parking lot on the left.
The 1st weekend featured 8:00PM
shows on Opening Night, Friday, July 16 and
Saturday, July 17. We also offered a 2:00PM
Sunday afternoon matinee on July 18. The
following week we had our annual Patron's Night for everyone
who wished to join us for our performance on Thursday, July 22 at
8:00PM. A Friday night performance at 8:00PM followed and we closed our show with a final performance on Saturday evening, July 24, at
8:00PM. We hope you were able to attend one (or more) of our shows. Tickets for this summer's St. Cyril
Theatre Guild performances remain one of the best entertainment values in town, priced from only $5 to $10 per seat. If
you would like to go to dinner before or after a performance, please review
our Houston page for a list of restaurants.
A brief synopsis of the musical, details on auditions, the rehearsal schedule, ticket information, and a history of the Guild
with links to all eight of our previous shows are available by clicking below.
Without Cole Porter there would be
no Anything Goes. Please visit our
Tribute to Cole Porter page for some pictures and interesting information
on the life of Cole Porter and some of the background for this musical.
Please check the "Announcements" page for new messages. Older
messages concerning make-up and other topics are still there also.
General Guild Announcements should be checked often.
The Guild always needs lots of help
to produce their musical. If you have
some skills to offer or are just willing to work
hard to "learn on the job" please check
our job openings page.
