Heart Song Cover Heart Song

Melody Logan was as alone as a solitary gull, with only the wild atlantic wind to lift her spirits and hopes.

When Melody Logan's mother died in a car accident, Melody lost the last shred of family she had ever known. She was practically a stranger to the Logans, her wealthy relatives on Cape Cod, where she now drifted on a sea of dark secrets. In the eyes of gentle Aunt Sara, Melody was a replacement for her dead daughter, while for Uncle Jacob she was a reminder of the family's shameful past. Only good-hearted Cary seemed to care, and since it was revealed that she and Cary weren't truly cousins, the affection that had always surged between them now crested in thrilling waves. Heart Song Stepback

But Melody knew she could never truly echo Cary's loving promises until she discovered her own buried identity. Depsite Grandma Olivia's daggerlike treats, Melody sought out Belinda, a mysterious, half-crazy woman who was her real grandmother. Belinda gave Melody hope--and a glimmer of the pearls of truth she knew were hidden in the shifting Cape Cod sands. Somehow, someday, the story of her past would be her hard-won treasure, to be savored in a world of sunshine and happiness... where she truly belonged.

Do you have an opinion about who's in the picture? Write to me.

"People have said time and again that they believe that to be Aunt Sara & I am SO glad to see you agree with me that it was one of the nurses... I never even thought ONCE that it could be Sara!"
- Shay of Shay's V.C. Andrews Page

"In Heart Song, the woman by the tree you put down was Mrs. Greene. However, I thought only the main characters who play an important role should be on the stepback art. Me and some others think the woman should be Sara, Cary's mom. I could be wrong, though. I'm not sure."
- Jayelina at jayelina@yahoo.com

"I think the people on the cover is Mrs. Greene behind the tree cause she was always watching Melody when she came to visit. Cary is looking at Melody with love in his eyes. Belinda looks like she's lost in memories. Which she is until she dies. "
- PANDORA5470@webtv.net

"You'll probably think this as stupid, but I did not know that was Cary. I thought it was Nelson Childs."
- HattieAAH@aol.com

"Well, the lady by the tree in my opinion is Olivia. I see it as a woman watching her sister and making sure that she doesn't spill nonsense about what really happened in the family. She never wanted Melody to visit Belinda."
- GTocz@aol.com

"I think it's Olivia in the picture because she never wanted Melody to go visit Belinda, which is who I think is the woman she is sitting with. The boy is obviously Cary."
