Unfinished Symphony Melody Logan had only just found a safe harbor when a new storm set her adrift all over again... Melody had always believed her mother, Haille, and dear stepdaddy had died in tragic accidents -- that's why she'd come to stay with her secretive Logan relatives on Cape Cod. But then a friend recognized Haille's picture in a catalog and kindled Melody's hopes. Maybe her mother hadn't perished in a fire in California after all, but was in some deperate trouble that kept her out of reach... Melody's dream of finding her mother seemed as flimsy as the scrap of paper that was her only clue. And despite the pampered life Melody was offered as a guest in a Beverly Hills mansion, nothing could soften the blow of the moment she stood fact-to-face with her mother and saw her eyes turn dark and cold as stones. Melody knew there must be a reason why her mother pretended at first not to recognize her -- and why she'd even faked her own death. Though Melody's beloved Cary beckoned from Cape Cod, she felt in her heart that her mother needed her now more than ever. And beneath her mother's unkept promises and tattered fantasies, Melody hoped to unearth the truth about her own past, and find her way to a safer, better place... where she could embrace a bright new future of her own.

Standing in far rear -- Olivia
Do you have an opinion about who's in the picture? Write to me.
"It can't be Holly Brooks and Kenneth. Holly has brown hair when Melody meets her, and Kenneth has a pony-tail and beard (brown hair also)... Actually, I haven't got the slightest idea who they are... The only slightly red-headed person I remember is Belinda, but I don't think that's her."
"A comment on who the people in the picture on the book Unfinished Symphony. I was sure it was Uncle Jacob & Aunt Sarah! When they were happy they danced, remember."
"I think I know who is in the picture of Unfinished Symphony. Obviously the farthest person is Olivia. The couple, I think, is Nelson Childs, and Belinda. The three are obviously Melody, Cary and May."
"Once you look at the picture it almost reminds you since they are standing at Belinda's grave that it is Belinda and Judge Childs. But I know it can't be, but only Holly and Kenneth."
"Okay, anyone notice how different Cary looks in this picture? Same with Melody, her hair looks darker. Well, I think that the couple is Belinda and Nelson, because of the way they were both described, it would make sense."
"I know the three in the front are Cary,Melody, and May but come on they all look different from the last book. May's even younger than last time and Melody now has dark brown hair. I think the couple is definetly not Kenneth and Holly but I really don't know if it could be the judge and Belinda either."
"As far as the picture goes, I do think it is Holly and Kenneth, its kinda how I picture them, but I always picture May looking a little older than in that picture, since she is talking about the change in her body and boyfriends. It's hard to tell, they portray her age
differently all the time... and for some reason, I always picture her with blonde hair with a bob style hair cut (don't ask me why). Melody looks correct, very beautiful... but I think Cary's hair should be
lighter too."
"I think the people are Cary, Melody, May, Hallie and Archie, instead of Kenneth and Holly. And of course Olivia is in the background."
"I think that the two behind Melody are Samuel and Haille - during the
time when they lived together in Cape Cod. It's always said that Samuel loved Haille more than anyone else. It can't be Kenneth because the man on the picture is too old."
