Case

The computer case holds all the hardware, provides cooling, and protects the computer from electrical interference. One of the prime requirements of the case should be its cooling characteristics.

§ Form Factor should be the same as your motherboard. It is a good idea to have common form factors such as AT or ATX in case you outgrow your case or motherboard.

§ The Design of the case is one of the most important decisions you make. The tower or mid-tower systems are the most common because they provide amble room for expansion, whether it is bays or slots.

§ Bays If you want to make future upgrades to your computer then make sure you have an extra bay or two, to add an additional Hard disk, CD-ROM or DVD drive.

§ Expansion Slots are important if you plan on upgrading.  At least 5 or more should be good for starters.
