The Sultan of Dreamland

With dawn came awakening

from dreams memory fading

in the silken pavilions

of the Sultan of Dreamland

And what fragments remain

as glimpses of his lady

a blonde and graceful queen

abducted by an evil genie

The Sultan and Paladin consult

an unususual oracular pattern

on a sacred rug hung secret

concealed within her chambers

Then joined in circular quest

by the fearless Prince of Stone Trolls

aided by the Stuffed Wizard

evaded what fiends ambush befell

And in the dream of a dream

come arguments of a young man

that the older is lost in dreamland

out of touch with the real world
