Babies need lots of love and comfort, especially newborns. When my son was born, we learned that he really loved to be swaddled. I guess it was because he was used to being inside my womb, and it was very warm and snug in there.
The thing to remember with babies is that they are very sensitive to their environments. Their memories are short, and mostly all they remember is being in the womb and the sound of their mother's voice and heartbeat.
Make sure to reinforce their trust in you,
because without that, how will they learn from you? Love is also a very
important thing to impart on your children. I make sure that my son's
father and I show affection for each other, because then our son will learn that
as a boy, it's okay to be loving. My son's father has a very difficult
time with intimacy, he's afraid to show affection in front of others. But
I want to make sure that my son won't have that problem.
Remember Perfect Love and Perfect Trust with your children, it will set the foundation for the rest of their lives.
