Calvin Hudson Played By: Bernie Casey Maquis leader and former Starfleet attache to the Federation colonies in the Demilitarized Zone. Hudson graduated from Starfleet Academy with his friend Benjamin Sisko. Lieutenant Commander "Cal" Hudson lost his wife Gretchen before being assigned to uphold Federation-Cardassian Treaty in the Demilitarized Zone. In 2370, he traveled to DS9 to confer with Commander Sisko concerning security, following the destruction of the Cardassian freighter Bok'Nor. Unbeknownst to Starfleet at the time, Hudson had become a leader in terrorist Maquis movement, defending Federation colonies against the Cardassians. Hudson's activities with the Maquis led to his expulsion from Starfleet. |
