We won our first conference match of the season bringing our team dual
meet record to 2 - 1 and our conference record to 1 - 0. Our first pin
of the night was Freshman Andrew Cyr who single-handedly pumped up the
whole entire team for the rest of the match. He paved the way for
4 straight victories by us and we came out to an early lead of 18 -
0. The match went back and forth from that point on. We
would pin and then they would, but the great wrestling early on secured
our victory. Match Highlights: Andrew Cyr pinning
at 135, Jesse Conrad winning by decision at 140. |
