"No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, it's the ones I love who will always be the ones who pay. I want a life of my own...I'm Spider-Man no more!"
- Peter Parker, Spider-Man 2
Welcome to my very first and original website! To start off I would like to introduce myself, my name is Kelvin Hui and I am 18 years old, I'm the creator of this site. I must mention that I could have never done this without the invaluable assistance from my sister Kimberly, who worked hard on this for me. Thank you so much Kim for helping me, I appreciate it! Now I will answer the question that is burning in your mind, what is Kel Vintage? It is basically vintage Kelvin, this is essentially me. It is what I am known for, these are the things that I like or even love and I would like to share them with you. Celebrities, movies, novels, short stories, television, and reviews are the topics. You can read some short stories and movie reviews that I have written or check out what television shows, novels, or celebrities I particularly like. To conclude, I would like to say thank you for visiting my pages and hopefully you will enjoy the website enough to come back again.

Poll Update
Oh my goodness...it has been much too long since I last posted an update, more than a year! I can hardly believe it and for those of you asking why I haven't been around lately, let me answer with five words: I am still in university. Trust me; being incredibly tired and busy does not help when you are trying to maintain a website. I just had to make one last update for Christmas and before the New Year though, so here I am. Now that I am on break I will work on the site a little bit more. I have so many film reviews to write and have been working on several for the past few months because they are taking me forever! Hopefully, these will be done in the near future...you know they won't be. I hope everyone likes the image to your left, it has no significance whatsoever except for the fact that it’s extremely cool and I believe it fits into the theme of Christmas quite well. Also, what could possibly be better than both Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance in one picture? That’s absolutely right, nothing! I am starting an all-new Fan Art section on this very site; please send in your work to my e-mail address. It can be for anything, from Smallville to Star Wars to The Lord of the Rings so please contribute! I have one piece of art from my friend that is currently in the section; click here to see it! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year, including my friends and family. Have a great time with your loved ones; appreciate the special moments that you share with them! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Silver Bells, Silver Bells, It's Christmas Time in Vin City!

Kel Vintage Celebrates 2 Years Online!!!
I've been getting very excited about the tentpole event of the year, which takes place on this very day as I am posting my latest update...Tuesday, September 27th, 2005. There'll be people cheering in the streets, waving flags, throwing confetti and celebrating this life-affirming and world-altering event…but enough about my website’s second birthday! I am also quite thrilled about the new Fall Season on television, which includes old favourites such as Smallville, Gilmore Girls, and Lost with new shows such as Supernatural. I have seen the first episode of Supernatural and it is a good show, if not exactly amazing. The season premiere of Lost was fine, slightly boring, and while it answered who or what was in the hatch, that simply raised even more questions. I watched the first two episodes of the sixth (wow!) season of Gilmore Girls and they were okay, the second was actually better than the premiere. The Season Premiere of Smallville is airing on October 2nd at 7:00 PM on the Space Channel here in Canada, be sure to watch it! I am eager to see the first episode of the Fifth Season entitled Arrival. I hope the chapter will be more than good enough to satisfy my expectations. Of course I am also looking forward to the upcoming films that will be released such as Corpse Bride, The Fog, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and King Kong. I just finished watching Corpse Bride several minutes ago; it was relatively entertaining, creepy, poignant, and very original as is always the case with director Tim Burton. I had the pleasure of adding one more affiliate to my site and you can see it on the Links page, it is named Welcome to Smallville.
I am very happy and proud that I have made it this far in the world that is the internet, which is such a wonderful medium. From this time last year, I have been looking forward to my two-year anniversary, thus this is a great milestone for me. I can't believe that so much time has already elapsed, it seems like it was just yesterday when I was working on my site for the very first time. I would like to say thank you to all of the individuals who have supported me in these past years, from friends and family to the awesome people that I have met because of Kel Vintage. If you’d like, you can always wish me a Happy Birthday by giving me a gift, writing in my Guestbook, or even sending me an e-mail, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, don’t worry if it’s late, I would still love to hear from you no matter how many days have passed since the actual celebration. Speaking of presents, I must mention that I have received two wonderful graphics made by my incredibly nice affiliates, Katherine from Smallville Fictionized and Ashley from Sons of the Force. Katherine also created a graphic for my own birthday! Thank you so much! Check out these fantastic Gifts by simply clicking on the image to your left. It has been challenging, fun, and rewarding to maintain a website of my own, I am glad that I undertook this endeavor. Hopefully there will be many more birthdays to come in the future; I look forward to improving Kel Vintage to be the best that it can possibly be!

New Layout and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith Review!!!
Finally! The time has come to make another update on this website and boy is it a momentous one! As all of you can see, I have a brand new layout that I believe is much better and more colourful than the previous one! I am quite proud of it and I could never have done it without the assistance of my sister who helped me create the top banner collage so I thank you Kimberly. I simply changed the colours and added several more features such as the large image above. It is composed of some of my favourite motion pictures and television programs in recent memory. I will be changing all of my old pages into the new format so if you see that some of them are still in the former style; please don’t pay any attention to it. I believe that I will keep this layout for quite some time so please tell me what you think of it in the guestbook or contact me directly by e-mail if you prefer to do so. Also, if you would like to see my old layout or read some updates from the past, then click on the News Archive link at the bottem of the page. I have posted my review of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith as well, which is the 15th review to be featured on Vin City! Click on the image to your left to go read it now! It is a very long critique; I put so much effort into writing it and finding the appropriate images that served the piece of work. I truly hope that all of you enjoy it, especially the fans of the saga. I also cleaned out the Links page and you will now see that some of my previous affiliates are gone because those particular sites were not being worked on anymore. Speaking of my web friends, I have added a new one named Jedi Aayla, which is based on the character from the Star Wars universe. I also joined two fanlistings, the first is Pure - The Lana and Clark Fanlisting and the second is Revenge of the Sith: The Official Fanlisting. I am still working on several film reviews continuously so I hope to have all of them up sooner rather than later. Until the next update, please enjoy the new features that I have added to the website.

Please do not take reviews, stories, or pictures that I have created myself without asking permission first. I have worked hard on these and I would appreciate it if you don't steal them from me.
