Illinois 50 is a north-south route from the inner Chicago area to Kankakee. It follows Cicero Avenue through the City of Chicago, then passes through the southern suburbs, then follows the Interstate 57 corridor south to end in Kankakee.

US14 at Lincolnwood

IL19 at Chicago

IL64 at Chicago

I-290 at Chicago

I-55 in Chicago and near Midway Airport

US12/20 at Oak Lawn

IL50 intersects I-294 as IL83 joins from the west (north) by Alsip

IL83 leaves to the east into Midlothian

US6 by Oak Forest

US30 at Olympia Fields

I-57 near Bourbonnais

IL17 in Downtown Kankakee

IL50 ends in the south at US45/52 in Kankakee.

It passes through these towns: Skokie, Lincolnwood, Chicago, Cicero, Oak Lawn, Alsip, Crestwood, Midlothian, Country Club Hills, Olympia Fields, Monee, Peotone, Manteno, Bradley, and Kankakee.
