Brittany
Brittany loved b-ball, and writing too
But painting and drawing was the things she liked to do
But lately Brittany's muscles just aren't feeling quite alright
She's been feeling alittle achy, and often tired
Her mom and dad took her to see the docter
After taking many tests, the docter came to talk to her
With tears in her eyes,
She said Brittany had leukemia
Brittany started to cry then she decided to leave
She ran out the door and ran down the street
She ran so hard, so fast she had aches in her feet
That night when she went to bed her parents told her
Baby we'll do anything you want to,
We want to make your last days the best because we love you
Brittany wanted to live by the ocean
So the next weekend, they moved to Florida
Brittany loved walking down the beach
Collecting every seashell that she would see
One day while walking, she met a guy named Jay
They started meeting and talking almost every day
One day while riding horses on the beach
'Stop,' said Brittany, 'Theres something I've got to say.'
Jay listened carefully as she started to explain
'Jay, I've got leukemia, and only a few weeks left to live'
Jay understood and said, 'I love you, and I always will.'

She gave it to jay and he sat it on her shelf
'It's to remember me by,' she said, 'Since I don't have many days left.'
Walking doing the beach in the hot summer sun
She and Jay were laughing, playing, and having fun
Brittany collapsed and Jay held her in his lap
'I love you, Jay,' she said as her eyes close
'I love you, too,' Jay told her, God only knows
God only knows why he took her so young
She had too much left to live for
She and Jay should still be laughing, playing, and having fun
