Johnny Moyer

circa 1965

Johnny Moyer became the drummer for Carol Vega & Trio some time in 1964, replacing Johnny Jordan. He remained with Carol Vega & Trio after Paul had left the band and was with the band until about 1966. From 1966 to 1968 he was in a band with Ronnie Laas called "Spectrum of Sound". They toured all over the country including a stay of 9 months in Vegas.

Update from John's sister, Ellen Shockley, July 24, 2010:
John Committed suicide in 1983 down here in Naples FL. I miss him so much. He got into band who were so deep into drugs. In 1970s he did live with his girl friend who shot him point blank in the stomach and I pulled him through that but it was the beginning of his spiral down into drugs dealing with the physical and mental pain. I never realized that Norm Cotton's name was Norman Paul.
