With the arrival of Keto from Auckland Zoo in late 2004 and the birth of a male calf to Caballe earlier that year, Hamilton now has a sizeable breeding herd.

The males are

• Zambesi, arrived from South Africa in 1999.
• Inkosi, male calf of Caballe and Zambesi, born 14 January 2002.
• Mtoto A male calf born on Tuesday 15 February 2004 to Caballe.He is the second calf to be born at Hamilton Zoo

• Caballe, Arrived from South Africa in 1999
• Moesha, arrived from South Africa in 1999
• Keto born at Auckland Zoo, now living at Hamilton after Auckland decided to run a bachelor herd.
