3 girls, Umi, Fuu, and Hikaru who were summoned from another world's piller, Princess Emerald, to save her world. They are called the Magic Knights. The world they need to save is called Ciphiro. They meet Clef, most powerful sorcerer in Ciphiro, and he makes them armor and teaches them magic (well not really teach...) but they were interferred by Zagatou and he only got to hikaru. He told them to go and meet Presea, an artisian, so she can make weapons for them. Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu make their way to Presea's but Alcione, one of Zagatou's goons, to stop them. She was got defeated by Hikaru's suprise attack. Then meet Presea but they need to find a legondary material in order for Presea to make the weapons. They also meet Mokona there! When the leave Presee's house they (including Mokona) came to the forest of silence, which is a place where u can't use magic, and it is sort of a maze in the forest. On their way looking, they meet Ferio. He is also looking for a way out of the forest and so they made him their bodyguard. The three of them need to find the legendary mineral and their gardians, Rayearth, Ceres, and Windom, so they can defeat Zagatou.
