Okay! Okay! Winning isn't everything! It isn't even really important who wins! Sportsmanship, teamwork and a true love of the game are what really matter. The players' job is to show courtesy, on and off the playing field, to team mates, opponents and (especially) officials. The coaches' job is to set the example for fairness and good sportsmanship. The parents' job is to support the team in a fair and upright manner (no yelling at the officials!) Winning the game is NOT important!
But, boy does it sure feel good to come out on top once in awhile!
