Princess Mononoke : The Art and Making of Japan's Most Popular Film of All Time - The pure majesty and beauty put into the artwork of Hayao Miyasaki's most successful film to date is reason enough to buy this book.

Bone - I know its not Japanese, but it is still in my opinion on of the greatest comics ever drawn. Such a great story, such amazing artwork.
