Nesting

In the spring-time birds engage in courtship.

While some birds will nest in houses, other's prefer to nest in trees. Clean the house when a brood leaves, to help prevent spread of diseases.

Does you nest box get to hot? Always try to provided adequate ventilation. Have you provided drainage to cope with a heavy rainstorm?

Thinking of cutting down that branch because it does not appeal to you? Dead wood provides a large supply of insect food for birds. They also supply a great many holes, for birds to use to nest in.
