Nesting
In the spring-time
birds engage in courtship.
While
some birds will nest in houses,
other's prefer to nest in trees. Clean the house when
a brood leaves, to help prevent
spread of diseases.
Does
you nest box get to hot? Always
try to provided adequate
ventilation. Have you provided
drainage to cope with a heavy
rainstorm?
Thinking of cutting down that
branch because it does not appeal
to you? Dead wood provides a
large supply of insect food for
birds. They also supply a great
many holes, for birds to use to
nest in.
