Porter and Frances J 'Fannie' Pyatt Baird

Frances J 'Fannie' Pyatt was born in December 1855 in Illinois (probably Perry County) to Isreal 'Izri' J and Mary J Craig Pyatt and died in 1932.

Fannie married August 29, 1886 in Perry County, Illinois, Alexander Porter Baird who was also born December 1855 in Illinois to Alexander P and Euphemia Henderson Baird and who died in 1927. Both Fannie and Porter are buried in the old southwest section of the Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, in Perry County, Illinois along with their parents and many siblings.

The known children of Robert and Fannie were as follows:

In the July 23, 1897, issue of the "Du Quoin Tribune" published in Perry County, Illinois, Francis and Porter along with thier daughter, Florence, are listed as having attended the wedding celebration of George and Olive Wham Pyatt. George was Francis' younger brother. Also in attendance were several other of their siblings including: John Pyatt and his son, Raymond; James Pyatt and his son, Frank; Anna Pyatt Jackson and her husband, William and children, Mary and Pyatt; and Nettie and Mary Pyatt. Francis and family were listed as 'of Pyatt, Illinois' as were all the other siblings except the Jacksons who were 'of DuQuoin'.

Their first appearance - on the 1900 census, Robert and family appeared as follows in Pickneyville, Perry County, Illinois:

This family enumerated #171/172 pg 130A (ancestry.com image 19/29). Living in the same neighborhood were Fannie's siblings, Robert I Pyatt, John L Pyatt, James M Pyatt and George W Pyatt.

When I have abstracted this family on the 1910 and 1920 census, I'm sure we will find the child, Pyatt, born to them. If anyone can add to this line - please let me know.
