We had an uneventful 4th of July this year, as far as the holiday itself goes. I take that back, we did cook some hot dogs on the grill. The city of Waco's firework show was cancelled
due to weather and re-scheduled for that upcoming Friday. David ended up working that Friday and I ended up forgetting about the fireworks all together.
On the other hand it was a very eventful day for the family but especially for Scott and Ben (his cousin). Their CD, Obligatory Bloodshed, came out. The Burr Conspiracy is a heavy metal hardcore band so if you aren't used to
listening to that kind of music they aren't for you. But if you are interested in hearing them they have 4 songs on their page at http://www.myspace.com/theburrconspiracy.
Our niece, whose bridal photo is on last month's Shtuff page, turned 21 on the 12th.
