        TOASTMASTERS LEADERS PLUS CLUB INAGURATION OF
OFFICERS

         New officers will be honored here  Wednesday,  July
12 at Dobson Ranch Restaurant at 2155 South Dobson
Road in Mesa.  Officiating at the ceremony will be 
Julie Stephens, newly appointed Area G-3 Governor. 
This event which begins at 6:30 is open to the public.
 

          New officers include:  
President: Janette Gann, DTM 
Trisha Blackwelder, CTM,  VP Education 
Colleen Humpal, DTM,  VP Membership 
Lucille Houston, ATM,   VP Secretary,
Nancy Starr, DTM, Treasurer   
Melissa Jones,   Vice President Public Relations  
Cyndi Newburn, ATM - Sargent at Arms 

          Leaders Plus Toastmasters meets regularly  the
second and third Wednesday  to improve their
communication and leadership skills that in essence
benefit the companies for whom they work. Working
together, they make it happen. 

        Arizona Toastmaster International District 3 includes
over 140 Toastmasters Clubs with over 2,500 members in
the state of Arizona.  Within the last year, fourteen
new clubs have applied for Charter.  Toastmasters is
again becoming an educational tool used by industry to
train their people. 

        Toastmasters International has more than 8,000 Clubs
around the world which participate in District speech
contests annually.  This year’s fall speech contest is
the Humorous and Evaluation contests.  Clubs are
beginning their contests to determine who will
represent them at the Area Contests in September. 

        Toastmasters International is the world’s largest
educational organization devoted to communication and
