FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL SPEECH CONTESTS
The
best speaker in the Valley will be chosen here
Friday, April 8, when Toastmasters
International
conducts its annual District 3 Speech Contest.
This
contest is open to the public.
The
event will begin at 6:30 p.m and will be
conducted at the United Methodist Church at 2450
W.
Baseline in Mesa, AZ. The winner will be
chosen from
among five contestands and advance to the Toastmasters
International regional contest here next month.
Participating in the contest will be (names and
hometowns of each contestant). Ann Green
of East
Center City is contest chairman and Bob Rosenfeld
of
West Center City will be the chief judge.
Toastmaster
International District 3 includes over
140 Toastmasters Clubs with over 2,500 members
in the
state of Arizona. Toastmasters International
has more
than 8,000 Clubs around the world which are
participating in District speech contests this
month.
The culmination of this competition is the “World
Championship of Public Speaking,” which will
be
conducted this August during the annual Toasmasters
International Convention in Florida.
