A seaside trip in Paignton Devon. This was a day trip when Freddie took Charlie to visit the family he stayed with in Buckfastleigh when he was evacuated to Devon during WW2. Charlie and Georgie stayed with one family called Seatherton and Freddie boy and Hetty stayed with a family called Haywood all in Buckfastleigh. This is the Seatherton family. The four were evacuated together and waited with other children in a church hall. Couples would come and were told to pick two of the children to look after. They later discovered that the Seatherton family and the Haywood family knew each other and lived in the same town.
