| It seems to me in the world that we live in many people are walking around dead. They have given up on their goals, stopped aspiring, think of motivation as a disease, continue to unnoticed small accomplishments, complain about what they believe they need, daily destroy their self esteem by settling for less, lack the energy to, understand, have faith, compromise, have patience or to achieve. I don?t understand what is happening. Although, I have my theories, I don?t have anything concrete. But I believe it has a lot to do with people not BEING IN LOVE WITH THEMSELVES! The way I see it is if a woman can love and be committed to herself like she shows love and commitment to the man that beats on her everyday relentlessly, then she would be able to accomplish anything. You might not fully grasp what I?m saying. But it is very profound. When you look at a woman that is in a physically abusive relationship you constantly wonder why is she still with him? How can she seriously love a male (because he isn?t a man) that beats on her? Topically, she will response and say ?I love him?. Realize that this woman is unconditionally committed to this man even thought she gets a black and blue eye from him religiously every other day. That she has had four miscarriages, because he punched her smack in the stomach. She is willing to DIE for him. She is willing to do whatever she has to do to keep him. Now if she was so passionate and dedicated about loving herself image the possibilities. If she uses that same dedication, commitment and love and apply it to becoming financially secure, self empowered, intellectually intimidating, mentally strong, socially conscious, physically strengthen, spiritually courageous and educationally unlimited, her life would be phenomenally unstoppable. She would be able to eradicated the lies she tells herself, the pain she allows people to inflict on her, the state of confusion that she struggles with everyday, the stagnation that she set for herself, the fears that leaves her immobile and the guilt that wells up in her, because of her unhappiness. The self hatred that I see some people having for themselves covers them from head to toe. So maybe the next time you see a sister or brother walking around dead slap them with knowledge and love to bring them back to life. |
