You should feel very special on your Blessed Day!  Your wedding should be one of a joyous occasions.  

You pick a mate that is a reflection of what you want and what you value.  As partners you should love what you see in each other and support one another in doing better.  Fixing is telling what is wrong, why and how to fix it, but supporting is allowing each other to make their own choices and being there if things go wrong.  When you support you are trusting unconditionally and sending the message to your partner (wife or husband) that you trust and believe in them and the decisions that they make.  If you go into a marriage thinking that everything is going to be your dream come true and you will never have agreements, misunderstanding or disagreements then you are in for a rude awaken.  Nothing and nobody is perfect, but what we are is so splendid on its owe that we are great.  We have gifts that can be used year round and choices to learn from mistakes or to repeat them.  Compromise will become so handy along with unconditional acceptance.  This does not by any means imply that you should take a cheater or a physical abuser back, what this means is that you will have to accept who they are even though you might not want to and do what is best for you.  The love doesn't  stop, it simply is put in a direction of positively and priority, which is you.  So on your day whether you are a man or woman be strong in your decision, enjoy all the fuss your family is making, no matter how aggravating your mother is getting you and make you vision a reality.
