June 22, 2002 - Saturday

Rainy most of the day.

I just got back from the most fun I've had at karaoke in ages. This new place that we tried tonight had a lot of country songs, and I sang them all, or tried to! They had everything from Garth Brooks to Reba McEntire, Eddie Rabbit to Anne Murray. As a proud Canadian I thought it was my duty to regale my husband with Anne Murray's "You Needed Me". Fortunately, he still loves me! I sang all kinds of stuff, Rod Stewart, Herman and the Hermits (Henry VIII I am), Billy Ray Cyrus (Achy Break Heart anyone?) and Garth's Friends In Low Places. What a hoot! AND, there's still more! They had the theme songs from The Partridge Family and Greatest American Hero, so I did those too!

The rest of my day wasn't that much fun, but it was good! I had a few classes that went quite well. Work was fine. In my last class of the day we did some play acting and the students really hammed it up and were quite funny.

At home we ate supper and watched The Mask with Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. It was pretty funny. After we did the dishes we sneaked out to go to karaoke.

And that's about it for tonight. Later eh!
