Cloudy and humid all day.
A pretty good day. I was a little busy at work, but not too rushed. I had enough time to do everything that I needed to do...that's a good thing. Classes went well, and I managed to finish early for a change.Yeah!
In the morning at the apartment I did nap, but I limited myself to only 30 minutes. I also got a package of magazines ready to send to a friend. I left for work and rushed to the post office. I got there in time to mail everything. I was going to wait in line to use the post office machine to deposit some coins, but an old lady jumped in front of me just as I was going to get in line. I knew that I didn't have enough time to wait so I got on my bike and left.
During the day when I was reading the newspaper I was surprised to learn that the Canadian Prime Minister had changed. Monday's paper said his name was Gordon Campbell. I was shocked as I hadn't heard that Jean Chretian had quit. However, Tuesday's paper printed a correction, in tiny little letters I might add, saying that Gordon Campbell was the Premier of British Columbia, and not the Prime Minister of Canada. Whew! Not as out of touch as I feared!
After work, I biked to the apartment and waited for Fumihiko. He hadn't left his job yet! Good grief. He came and got me a few minutes later and we went to M's Dining. I saw one of my students there and I waved. I think he was surprised to see me again! Fumihiko ordered, and he might have ordered wrong again, but I wasn't listening! I wanted chicken steak, but I got steak steak. It was good, and I didn't mind, but it was more expensive! Oh well. I also had the drink bar and I made myself some iced Earl Grey tea. That was wonderful. It really was. I had some iced jasmine tea later, but it just wasn't the same.
We came home after dinner and came upstairs. Now we are both on our respective computers! Not even talking to each other. It's so sad! I can't even email him as he doesn't have email. Oh dear!
Well, I suppose I could just talk to him...it is an option. So, on that note, I'll catch you later!
Night night!
