Sunny and cool.
A day that was better at the beginning and the ending than in the middle! I woke up late this morning. Really late! Fumihiko made coffee around 9:30, but I didn't shake a leg until after 12! We had a cuddle in bed this morning and we both read. It's funny, but that, more than anything makes me feel married! Reading in bed with my guy beside me....heaven!
We went out to the Daiichi Hotel for lunch. It was quite nice and I enjoyed it. After lunch we went to look at the DVD shop. While I was there I started to feel unwell. After a trip to the ladies room, I asked if we could just go home. I really felt quite nasty. At home I took some medicine and then played around on my computer for a while. I felt a bit better later.
In the evening we went out again. We went to Hyaktenbouri. It's a restaurant connected to one of the universities in Tsuruoka. We had a lovely meal, tofu, fish, pork shabu-shabu and coffee. Fumihiko had some noodles and dessert too. It was really nice. The presentation of the food is very interesting, and we cook some of it at the table too. In fact, we always mix something up, and don't do it correctly! Tonight it was the tofu. We thought we were just supposed to eat it, but we were also supposed to put it in our soup. Who knew?
After that, Fumihiko asked me what I wanted to do. I of course suggested karaoke, but he didn't want to go. So, we went to Jusco and looked at suits for him. I promised to buy him a new suit for an anniversary present. He bought me a four piece suit in Australia so I thought fair was fair. We looked at some nice ones, but then the saleslady came over and helped us. She found him a really nice suit in navy that we both liked a lot. So, we got that one! I'll pick it up for him on Tuesday.
I asked Fumihiko if we could go downstairs and look at women's clothes. We went down there and as I was passing a bargain bin, I saw a cute shirt right on top. It was in my size! I tried it on, and then I also tried on a skirt too. The skirt actually fit me! It was a bit too tight around the stomach, but if I covered it with my shirt it looked okay. I didn't buy it though, but it was nice to be able to put it on. I bought the shirt though. It's nice. Fumihiko wanted to buy it for me but I wouldn't let him!
We came home afterwards and spent some time together. I played my new cd by 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, aka Russell Crowe's band. It's interesting. I think I need to listen to it again. And I'm sure I will.
That was my day. Nice and peaceful, except for the unwell part in the middle! Night night all!
