Rainy in the early morning, sunny but cooler today.
Finally a bit of a break in the weather. We needed it. I was getting tired of writing "hot and sunny" every day!
This morning we went to Gusto for breakfast. I wasn't feeling all that great, I was still quite tired. Then, Fumihiko drove me to work. I put out the signs and then got ready for the monsters. They were okay today. I arranged the seating by myself and it seemed to work. The only problem was I called one boy by the wrong name. Sigh. Not good!
My other classes today were fine, one didn't happen, but I knew about it in advance. In my last class a student had said she wasn't coming and then showed up anyway, so it was a bit weird, but okay actually.
After work I went to the apartment to pick up some stuff and then we packed up my VCR. I need to take it somewhere and get it fixed. It's been eating tapes or not recording when I set it.
We drove around trying to find a restaurant to eat in, but they all seemed quite full. I finally suggested going to Itchigyu, a yakiniku restaurant we go to sometimes. Well, it looks like it's been bought by new management. We got our food, but it was presented very beautifully. It was also darn good. In fact, I wonder if it isn't a bit too good now. There weren't many other customers at the time. However, we ate very well, and enjoyed ourselves.
We came home and planned to see the parade tomorrow. Fumihiko's asleep now and I'm watching An Ideal Husband, based on an Oscar Wilde play. It's interesting. I wish I'd caught it from the beginning. The actors are good!
Anyway, it's raining again, so I hope that it will stay a bit cooler.
Oh, I don't know if I'll be updating tomorrow night or not. My broadband system is being transfered to the apartment, so I don't know if I'll be able to.
