December 4, 2004 - Saturday

Clear, sunny and warm, rainy at night.

A good day. I got up this morning and did my usual morning stuff. I hung up the load of laundry that I had in the washing machine too. Yay me. I also received a phone call from my darling hubby around 10:30, so I knew he was back in the country!

Work was fine. My first class went quite well and the kids really seemed to enjoy themselves, some of the time. The Saturday kids class really likes singing, at least the boys do! They were singing in Japanese though, so I tried to get them to sing in English, with fair to middling results! We tried Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls. They liked the "fa la la la las."

I had a long wait between classes today and my last student cancelled too, so I was able to finish preparing for the party. Hopefully everything will go smoothly tomorrow.

After work I called my hubby to see if he was around yet. He was, and he came and picked me up. We went to M's Dining for dinner. The food was good, but the service tonight was terrible. We had to ask the waiter to bring us forks and knives, and there were many uncleared tables. Our usual waitress wasn't there. It's too bad.

When we finished dinner we dropped in at Gusto to order a party plate for the party tomorrow. Fumihiko's going to come too. Yay!

At home we did some catching up, Fumihiko gave me my souvenir from Thailand (a Thai handbag) and showed me a tablecloth he'd bought. It's a bit funny considering that we don't have a table yet, but.... We also did some discussing about my future career. Things have developed this week that I wasn't really prepared for, and it means some big decisions for me, and us too.

And that's about it. I don't know if I'll update tomorrow or not. Don't wait up for me!

Night night!
