Rainy and cool all day.
Well, today was odd! We slept in, it was after 11 before we got up and the Christmas party started at 1:30. I was supposed to be there at 1. Yikes. We ran around like crazy people and got everything done. Fumihiko did the nama ham roll-ups. We left early and I got to the school early too. Mika was late though, but she did go over to the party place first to unlock it. I got the stuff ready and put it where we could grab it quickly. When Fumihiko came back we loaded up the stuff in the car, and drove over to the party place.
When we got there we started to set up. Mika and her husband were busy doing that and just then people started to arrive. After this we got busy!
The party was fun. Lots of kids came and we ate a lot of good food and played some great games. I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
After the party we came home and went to sleep. Seriously! We slept for a couple of hours. Both of us were exhausted!
We finally roused ourselves and then we decided to get ready to go out for dinner. I was getting dressed to go out when the phone rang. Fumihiko answered it and we both got a big surprise. It was our friend Taeko, calling from England. We were really surprised! I had a good gab with her. It was great to talk to her for a while.
We went to Jiro for dinner. I had pork saute with garlic sauce. It was great. Fumihiko had shrimps and clams. After dinner we came back to the house via the grocery store.
We ended up watching Army of Darkness. I also put up our Christmas tree too. Unfortunately a lot of ornaments are still at the house. I hope that Fumihiko will be able to bring some of them soon, or I'll have to buy more!
And that's it for me. It was a good if strange day! I hope tomorrow will be relaxing, today wasn't really.
