November 10, 2004 - Wednesday

Sunny and reasonably warm! Gorgeous day.

A good day actually. This morning Fumihiko's alarm went off. He switched it off and went back to sleep. Unfortunately he didn't get up until my alarm went off at 8:30. Yikes. I got up with him and put a few things for him to eat in a bag, and he left for work. I checked email and slept on the couch so I had a nice relaxing morning. I also loaded up my slow cooker before I left for work.

Work was okay today. I wasn't terribly busy, just busy enough to not be bored. During our staff meeting I put up the Halloween Party Pictures. They look great. For a change I took a lot of pictures and Mika contributed a few too, so it was nice!

In one of my classes, a student came who hasn't shown up for 2 months. It was nice to see him, but he said his English was rusty. Poor guy.

After work I finished up and was going to change my clothes when Fumihiko called me. He hadn't finished work yet. I decided to go home and wait for him. I had a lovely ride home, even said "Hi" to a couple of foreigners that I saw along the way. That really was all I said. It was at a crosswalk!

In the apartment I set the table and waited for my hubby by using my lovely computer. Van sent an email to say that she got our presents and they fit. Hurray.

When Fumihiko finally came home I served dinner, with his help. We had veggies and pork roast. I guess I can call it a pork roast! It was really good. I'm quite pleased with it. Today and the last time I used my cooker I used big pieces of meat and it really made a difference. I poured a can of mushroom soup over everything before I left and it made a nice soupy gravy.

I did the dishes as Fumihiko really looked tired. He took his bath and now I'm going to go and give him a little TLC. I'll catch you tomorrow night. Don't miss me too much! Night!
