Cloudy, but nice day. A little rain, but not when I was out!
This morning Fumihiko left the house on time. Hurray. I got up at my appointed time and went to nap on the couch. Yay! I love that. I got ready and left for work as usual.
Work was fine today. I had a class cancel but I knew it would happen. I did some prep work for today and next week and taught my lessons. That's about it.
After work, I was reading my new Dean Koontz book, Odd Thomas, when my phone rang. It was my hubby of course, and he was saying that he was in Yamagata at that time. Sigh. I offered to hit a grocery store to get us some dinner, which he gracefully accepted.
I biked off and at the grocery store I found some roast beef, tomatoes, strawberries, French Bread (for him) and some salad for my lunches. I came home and used my computer for a while. When I finished, Fumihiko was coming in the door. I put the food out and we had a nice dinner. Unfortunately, I think I overdid the acid though as my tongue feels a bit sore. I hope I don't get pimples on it tomorrow.
I was washing the dishes when Fumihiko offered to take over. I let him of course. I don't wash dishes to his satisfaction. Of course, he doesn't wash them them way I like them washed either so we just have to agree to disagree about the whole thing!
He's off taking his bath right now. I'm tired too, but I think I'll stay up for a while. I'd like to read a bit more of my novel.
