Rainy and cool.
We went to bed very late last night, so we slept in very late today too. That was nice. My favourite part was that I didn't have any nightmares. Whew!
We went out for breakfast and then we went to City Hall. We had to change our address. They are really picky here in Japan and if you don't change when you move then you could get into trouble. That took a while and we also took a while to get some documents from City Hall too.
After we got the stuff we went to Mikawa and hacked around for a while. I bought a few things for Christmas presents, so I think I did well. Yay me! Lucky Katie! We also went to see Catwoman. It was okay. I enjoyed it in a "wish I could do that" sort of way, but thought that overall it was a bit silly. Halle Berry was wonderful though, and if there was a sequel with a better story that would be okay. Sharon Stone was great as the fabulous looking ex-spokesperson of the company that starts the whole tale. She proves that older doesn't mean unglamourous.
After that we were going to go and do a bit of shopping in Tsuruoka but Fumihiko decided he needed to buy some windshield washer liquid. He got it, but then he had to put it in the car and then had to add water. It took time!
When we got to the shop I wanted to go to there was no time! We got there ten minutes before it closed. In Fumihiko's defence neither of us knew when it closed so it wasn't a problem. I looked but couldn't find anything that I wanted. I got some tea though, just because it looked nice!
We went for dinner to Kamerotei and then to buy some groceries. Fumihiko bought his ramen again. Yuck. I keep trying to get him to eat something else. That stuff is nasty. All carbs and high fat. He won't listen!
And that's about it. He watched TV for a while and I read my new Empire magazine. I just can't stand Japanese TV. It's so awful! Imagine the worst of North American TV, then dub it into Japanese and crank the volume up to 11. Bleck. Double Bleck.
Anyway, I'm back to work tomorrow. I'll be busy I think.Still, it should be okay. Wish me luck!
