Rainy all day.
Today had a strange start. Fumihiko's alarm rang and then he switched it off. Five minutes later it rang again and he turned it off and said, "I don't have to go to work today." Hmm! First I heard of it! I decided to keep to my usual routine though, so I got up at 8:30, checked my email and napped on the couch. I did everything else that I usually do. I didn't cook him breakfast though. I felt a little sorry about that, but if he'd told me the night before we could have gone out for breakfast!
He did drive me to work, which was really nice especially since it was pouring! Then he went off to see the doctor. This rainy weather is playing havoc with his back.
I wasn't too busy at work today, but I wasn't unbusy either! During our staff meeting Mika and I went to see a possible place for our party. It's nice, but I'm not sure if they'll let us use it. We'll have a bunch of kids there, and it might be a bit noisy!
After work I read a bit of my book. I just started Howl's Moving Castle because Studio Ghibli has made a film of it. I'm wondering if they'll stick closely to the book though. I hope so because so far it's great. I won't be able to see the movie until it's on DVD though. It's just shown in Japanese here.
Fumihiko and I went to Coco's tonight. The drippy waiter wasn't there. Hurray! We had a nice meal, and exactly the same thing! Stir-fried beef with veggies. It was pretty good tonight.
We came home and that's about it for our day. Tomorrow he's back to work, and so am I. Oh well. Gotta go!
