Clear and sunny all day, almost warm!
We had a bad night last night. Fumihiko wasn't able to sleep very well, his neck was bothering him a lot. In the morning he decided to take the day off and go to the doctor. I slept in a bit and then went for my walk. I was only supposed to go for 30 minutes but it ended up being around 40, that's good eh? It was nice today. I still haven't found a route that I really like though.
When I came home, Fumihiko was already back from the doctor and was feeling no pain. He'd been given a shot. I showered and then we went out for lunch. We went to Edoichi, which was kind of yucky today. There were a million teenagers there. It was like a school festival or something. Most of them left just before we did.
After lunch we went to the post office to pick up my travellers cheques. After the last couple of years I was a bit nervous about buying them in Tsuruoka, but this year the guy actually knew what he was doing. Yay. I got them, and I even signed them already. Hurray.
We tried to go to the International Center today, just to discover that it is no longer open on Mondays. Heck, that's convenient--NOT. I had wanted to return some books and do a Book Crossing, but it wasn't too be. Maybe on Sunday I'll bike over. Maybe.
We decided to go to the mall, so that's what we did. We did a bit of shopping, and then went to see National Treasure. It was silly, but harmless. Fumihiko called it "an average treasure movie" and I think that's pretty appropriate. It was from Disney, for heaven's sake!
We went to Gusto for a quick dinner, then on to the grocery store for some food. Then, home. We're just vegging out a bit. I'm trying to realize that I have to work tomorrow. NO! I'm not ready yet. One more day....Please??
Oh well, that was my day. It was okay mostly. I'll talk at you tomorrow. Night!
