April 3, 2005 - Sunday

Rainy and cool most of the day.

A good day, I'm happy to say. I woke up this morning after Fumihiko left for work. I was going to go for a walk, but it was raining quite hard. I decided not to go. Oh dear.

I showered, did laundry, cooked lunch and read my book today. That was pretty much it. It was lovely! I actually got to lounge on the couch and read. Fumihiko does that so much when I'm using my computer that I feel like I can't sit on the couch too. I could really, but I don't feel like it!

After he came home we had some coffee that I made, and then we went out for dinner. We were going to go to Paris Cinq, but it was closed, and our next choice had moved, so we went to Mikawa, to Bistro Des Ponts. It was great! I had fish. I ended up having 3 dishes with fish in them, and even though I had canceled my dessert, he gave me some strawberries. Yay! Everything was lovely. I like fish, I just don't always like the way it's prepared in Japan. However, this was great tonight. Yum, yum.

During dinner Fumihiko and I had a discussion over whether he has to work tomorrow. He announced that he didn't have to. Excuse me? He told me two days ago that he did and I made plans to meet up with a friend on Monday because of that. We decided to check before we went anywhere else tonight. We drove home and sure enough, he HAS to work tomorrow. Sorry about that dear, but that's what I thought. We did go out anyway, we went to karaoke for 2 hours. Usually we go for free time on the weekend, but with him working tomorrow I didn't want to make him too tired. We had a good time. I sang a few songs that I've never sung before, including What's Up by The 4 Non-Blondes. That was quite cool. The phrasing of the words is really difficult.

We came home then and I worked on my credit card application! They want all kinds of weird information. One question was do you live in a Concrete apartment or a Wooden Apartment? I'm not sure what the difference is to them. Still, if I can actually get a card that'd be good.

And that's about it. I've got plans for tomorrow, but I don't know what I'll be doing. I don't know if that makes sense or not, but I'm hoping it'll be fun. Tune in tomorrow night and find out about my day.

Night night.
