Gorgeous and sunny.
I had a good morning today. Although I didn't spring out of bed when my alarm rang, I did get up fairly easily and went for a walk. Before I left I decided to mail my card, so I addressed it and set out. I popped the card in the box and then realized I was near a convenience store. I decided to go there and get a salad for lunch. While I was paying for it, an ex-student of mine from a looonnggg time ago came in the store with her daughter. I had a little chat with her. It was so nice to see her again. It's been ages, it really has.
I didn't have much nap time when I came home. I had a lot of email this morning, so I had to read it all. Then, I tried to take my nap, but the alarm kept going off.
I did my morning stuff, set out to work. It was such a gorgeous day. The sun was shining, not cloudy for a change. Hurray.
Work was okay today too. I didn't have a lot of classes, but I did have counselling in 2 of them, so it seemed longer. After work, Fumihiko called me at 9:30, but I wasn't quite done yet. I asked him to wait a bit before he came. When he arrived, I was finished. Yay.
We went to Gusto for dinner and it was okay. Then, we went to the grocery store for some more salad for me! And, picked up some beer and milk and cream for us. The beer was not for me, let me say that right now!
When we came home, I made some coffee (decaff instant) as we seem to have run out of the drip kind. Oh well.
Tomorrow that new student might show up. Oh yay! I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing. Wish me luck!
