Clear and cold, then snowy and windy at night.
Kind of strange day. I did all the usual stuff. I wasn't sure if I could ride to work today because it had snowed a little overnight and the roads looked a bit slippery, but by the time I left for work it was okay.
This morning I phoned my boss to see if I could get my holiday next month and she said it was okay. Yay me.
The really strange thing happened on my lunch hour. I went to Jusco and decided to get out some money at the cash machine. I was just putting my money in my purse when a man tried barging into the booth. He said in Japanese that he wanted his umbrella. Well, that's just fine and dandy dude, but you don't barge into the cash machine when someone is using it. I pushed him out, rather annoyed, and then when I felt like it, gave him back his umbrella. I think he's lucky I didn't start yelling for help and then beating him over the head with his umbrella. I was really unsettled after that, even though nothing happened.
My classes today were fine. Not much happened.
After work I waited and waited for Fumihiko to call me. He finally did and then he picked me and my bike up. We went to M's Dining for the first time in a while and it was quite nice. We both had wafu chicken. That's a grilled chicken breast with daikon and mushrooms on it. I t was nice.
And that's about it for my day. At work on my lunch hour I was reading a biography of Jane Austen by Carol Shields. It's very interesting and not dry at all. Some biographies are duller than ditchwater, but this one is rather good. I might finish it off tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll have time or not.
