Cool, then warmer and rainy.
A good day. We slept in this morning and then went for brunch at the Hotel Rich in Sakata. It was okay, not great for low-carbing though.
We didn't really go shopping after brunch, we came back to Tsuruoka and our apartment. We were waiting for our table. It duly arrived, right on time. The men brought it in in pieces and set it up for us. It's in the corner of the room and looks good. While we were waiting, Fumihiko got a call from his mother so we made some plans.
I asked to be dropped off at Athena, an interior design store, while Fumihiko went and saw his Mum. We did that. I had a great time, poking around the stores. I didn't buy anything until Fumihiko joined me, and then we bought two tablecloths and some place mats. I think everything looks really nice.
We had dinner in Jiro and it was great as usual. It's such a nondescript little place, but it's really nice. I highly recommend the pork saute with garlic oil. You may not be able to kiss anyone after eating it, but it's great!
We came home after that and I get the feeling we'll have an early night. We didn't sleep that well last night.
And that was my day. Night night!
