June 5, 2005, Sunday

Cloudy and muggy, nice in the afternoon.

Today was sort of an oddball day. Fumihiko had to take his Mum over to her hometown for a festival this morning, so he got up and went before I really woke up. I had planned to check email and stuff when he was gone, but I overslept. When he came home at I was sound asleep.

We went for lunch at Jiro. I enjoyed mine, but Fumihiko said it wasn't that good for him. He said it tasted weird.

After lunch we went to the house. Yes, the house. Fumihiko's Mum wasn't there so it was a good chance for me to get some of my stuff. I brought a few bags of things that I didn't even remember, and some things that have real sentimental value to me.

We stopped by the Kokusai Mura too so that I could dump off some books and maybe pick up a few new ones. I got a few, but most of them I've already read! It was hard to find good books for myself today.

We went to the Mall then to pick up some travel brochures and had some coffee while Fumihiko read through them. Then, we went over to the travel agency and booked our holiday. It should be fun, but the only thing I'm worried about is that we won't be "resting". We'll be travelling every day. I really didn't want that.

Today we also tried the new buffet restaurant La Chance. It used to be a vaguely French restaurant that we went to, now it's gone buffet. It was good, but I think there are still a few problems to be worked out. I did find quite a lot of things to eat, but sadly I wouldn't be able to at their lunch buffet. I enjoyed the meal, I'm not sure about Fumihiko.

Then we came home and watched The Gift. I really like that movie. I don't know how Fumihiko felt about it because after he watched it with me he said, "I've already seen it."

Now he's in bed sleeping. He has to work tomorrow and to be honest, I'm quite glad. I really need to get some quiet time. Today he's been really edgy and I find it hard to relax.

Anyway, that was my day. Catch you tomorrow? Night.
