Sunny with clouds later on in the day.
Today was a pretty good day, with a big laugh at the end of it. Something that has been sorely lacking from my life recently is laughter but I got a big laugh tonight.
Work was, and afterwards I went to Benkei with Fumihiko for dinner. It was great. That place really does have the best food. The decor isn't much, but the food is delicious.
We went to karaoke after dinner. We had to wait a bit to get in, but it wasn't too bad. Then, it happened. I was singing a 70's Disco Medley when "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees came on. I was singing away doing the arm motion when I looked over to see Fumihiko gesturing to his back, just like the guy in Airplane. I howled. I haven't even seen Airplane in a few months but it was just so funny. (You know, the scene in the disco where the heroine is dancing with the guy that gets stabbed in the back....remember?) Maybe you just had to be there. The next song in the medley was "I Will Survive" and even though I know it by heart I just couldn't sing it for laughing.
Anyway, we had a great evening. We're vegging at home now, eating Korean Nori (seaweed) and drinking our drinks. It was a good day! Night night.
