October 2, 2005 - Sunday

Rainy most of the day.

A mostly good day. Fumihiko had to leave early this morning, so I stayed in bed and slept. Even though I didn't have to get up, I got up around 10 and started doing laundry. I did a ton. I think I did about 5 loads. Oh my.

I watched last week's episode of The West Wing, then read a bit of my book. I played around on my computer a lot too and printed some stuff up for school.

After Fumihiko came home we snuggled for a while then went out for dinner. Tonight we went to the Washington Hotel and had steak. It was pretty good. We discovered that they'll have a steak "tabihodei" just in time for Fumihiko's birthday. That means that we pay one price but can eat as many steaks as we want. We went there for Fumihiko's birthday last year, so maybe I'll take him there again!

After dinner we went to the mall and then Fumihiko got a little bit irritated at me. I'm not exactly sure why. Something about taking the wrong basket to do my shopping with. You know what? I don't give a crap. If there's a "wrong" one and a "right" one, maybe I'm in the wrong store/country/marriage. Know what I mean?

He bought a couple of dvds, Holes and James and The Giant Peach. I was surprised because we had sort of decided not to buy any more for a while, at least not until we have watched a few of the one we have already.

We came home and planned to watch a new dvd, but I turned on the regular TV and found out that Lara Croft Tomb Raider was on. Fumihiko has a thing for Angelina Jolie, and if I'm truthful I have to admit that I do too! We watched the film and while it was supremely silly, it was very enjoyable too.

After it finished Fumihiko turned off the TV and did some paperwork for work. I felt a bit strange because I didn't know if he was still mad at me or not. Finally he finished and then suggested watching one of the new movies. We chose Holes because I haven't seen it.

It was great! It was a cool "teen-type" movie. It was really inventive, and it had Eartha Kitt in it too! I really enjoyed it as a movie. Holes. I'm going to have to search out the novel now I think. If it's like the book at all, I'll probably really like it.

While I was watching the movies tonight I worked on my shawl. I'm still doing the fringe. It seems to take forever, but I guess I'm getting there. I'm almost halfway done the fringe.

Anyway, that's it for me for tonight. I hope that everything goes well tomorrow. We might go and see Cinderella Man in the early evening, but I'm not sure!

Gotta go, night.
