Sunny and hot.
Today was the day of the Imoni-kai. I woke up a bit later than I wanted and took my shower. After that, we left for the party.
It was fun, and the imoni was great. The only problem was that I got too much sun...as usual. I wore a long sleeve shirt, but it's too long, so I pushed the sleeves up. My forearms got burned as did the back of my neck where I couldn't put enough sunscreen. My face feels a little warm, but it doesn't look red.I wore a hat, so I assume it helped to protect my face.
After the party we came home and just relaxed for a long time. That was nice. Fumihiko had a nap, I played with my computer.
We went to the Daiichi hotel in the evening for the buffet. It was very nice...almost everything was okay for me. Yay. On the way we got some stuff for my skin. It's got aloe vera in it so it's really cool.
I bought a few groceries in the mall and then we came home.
This evening we watched a couple of dvds. First we finally watched Bend it Like Beckham. It was great. I really enjoyed it. It was about girls soccer in England, and about family and culture. I thought it was quite balanced and fair.
As it was getting late then we put on an Ally McBeal dvd and watched the pilot. I'd never seen this episode before. It was interesting. The show improved a lot over the years.
And that was that. It seems like it was a long weekend, but it wasn't really. This week will be a short one as we're off for our holidays soon.
