Cloudy and warm, bit of rain during the day.
This morning I slept in very very late. So late that Fumihiko went out, got his car fixed and then came back without telling me. I hate that! I had planned to do my laundry when he was out, but I was sleeping. Sigh.
I did laundry, then got dressed. We went out to the car and Fumihiko asked me where I wanted to go. I was a bit surprised as we had an appointment to go to the photographer studio to see our photos.
We went there and looked at our photos. Honestly, I was disappointed. I have never had photos taken before where my double chin was so emphasized. I think the photographer should have had me pose in a different way. We picked a couple of the better ones and ordered them.
For lunch we went to Jiro and had a nice meal. It was really good. I had a mixed grill kind of thing. It had pork, chicken and shrimp.
We went to the mall after that and after buying Fumihiko some new socks, we went to see The Fantastic Four. It was fun, but not the greatest film in the world. Still, I enjoyed it. I was really surprised that since last week when we went, the concession stand has changed from Coke to Pepsi! The good thing for me is that they now carry Diet Pepsi. Hurray. Now I have a bit of choice over what to drink.
After the movie we had dinner at a yakiniku place in the mall and then shopped around again. We were planning to go and see Cinderella Man too, but I just didn't feel like it, so we came home.
On the way we stopped at the book store. I got a fountain pen and Fumihiko got a couple more books. The man is a bigger bookworm than I am I think!
We got a few groceries then came home. I cleaned up my book corner and got a few books ready to send to my friend. The problem is that most of the one I planned to send are MIA. Hmm. Where are they? Hubby??? He says he didn't move them. A likely story.
And that's about it. We watched the tail end of the Bond movie that was on and then I turned off the telly. I should probably try to get an early night as we have an imoni party tomorrow. We have to go there at 11 am. I might not be able to make it!
