Rainy most of the day, clearing a bit at night.
Today was a good, if quiet day. I really slept in late today. I surprised even myself when I woke up!
In the afternoon I did something that I haven't done for a while, I watched some of my comedy dvds. I watched a disc of Friends, and half of a Frasier one. I love them both, even though they are very different types of shows. I think I'm a bit like Frasier....snobby, with out the balding part. However, judging by the amount of white/light hair I find around the apartment, that could be wrong!
After Fumihiko came home, a bit late tonight, we dressed in some warm and water resistant clothing and walked to the park. The cherry blossoms are finally out, but the weather is not co-operating. It wasn't raining when we left, but it did start during our visit. We walked around the little booths and kiosks. Most of them were shutting up for the night and it was only 7:00 pm. Fumihiko got himself some takoyaki - balls of dough with octopus in them. We walked home after that. It was cold, and the rain was coming back.
At home I made dinner. Tonight we had a Mexican feast! Tacos. I had mine on lettuce as usual, Fumihiko got the taco shells again. We had chopped tomato, grated cheese, sour cream and hot sauce, plus the meat. Tonight we used a bought blend of beef and pork, to which I added a small amount of ground chicken. It made it a little less greasy than all-pork, which is cheaper here.
Fumihiko did the dishes afterwards and then I cleaned up after him. He doesn't do the things that I consider being part of doing the dishes. Things like wiping off the placemats on the table, making sure the table is clean, and putting away the leftovers.
We watched a dvd tonight, one of our new ones from our last trip. We watched Cats and Dogs. It was quite funny. We'd seen it before, but this was the first time to watch it all of the way through.
After the movie, Fumihiko ate his takoyaki. I thought it was funny that in one night he ate tacos and takoyaki. Then he fell asleep on the couch. He's off to bed now, and dreaming nice things I hope!
That was my day. It was quiet, but quite nice.
Night!
