Cool with a little snow.
A good day.
I had a supremely hard time getting out of bed this morning. I knew I had things to do, but I just couldn't rouse myself. Finally, quite late, I got up.
After my late brunch I went to City Hall to start getting my new Alien Registration Card. On the walk there, I mailed a birthday card to my friend in Florida.
Things went quite well at City Hall. I didn't really understand the ladies there, but with a lot of gestures and smiles we got everything underway. I have to go back in a couple of weeks to pick up my new card. Then, I can get the application for my new passport underway. Yey.
I walked home through the park. There were trails cut through the park, but the snow on both sides of them was at least waist level on me. Yikes.
At home I showered and then watched Charmed. Fumihiko came home and then left soon after to get us more kerosene. With me being home this year we go through it quickly
Fumihiko told me that he had an accident at work. Luckily no one was hurt. He backed the bus into a car because of the snow.
Tonight I cooked dinner. We had miso pork and veggies plus salad. It was nice.
Fumihiko washed most of the dishes and then promptly fell asleep on the couch! I ended up watching the NHK movie. Tonight it was The Third Man. I've never watched it all the way through before. I know I rented it once, but I was distracted and gave up. It was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. It works on a few different levels.
Fumihiko also slept through The West Wing, so I watched that too. He woke up after that and we spent some time together. Now we're kicking back and relaxing. I'm drinking instant decaf and he's drinking a beer.
I don't have any set plans for tomorrow. Hmm. I wonder what I'll do? Tune in tomorrow and find out.
Oh, and for those of you who wanted to see my lovely flowers, please check out my pages on flickr. They are gorgeous.
Night-night.
