Clear and a little cool.
A good day. I slept in quite late this morning, much later than I meant to. I did get up and get dressed long before 12 though. Yay me.
Around 12 I got a call from my ex-boss. It was a nice surprise. I also got to talk to the lady that I used to call every day, so that was great. We had a little chat.
In the afternoon I had lunch and took a shower. I spent a lot of time on my computer, quite honestly.
When Fumihiko came home I was watching Friends, the second season. It was rather funny. We got ready to go out. I actually curled my hair. He ordered a taxi for 7:20 and it arrived on schedule.
We drove to the izakaya and passed two of the people coming on the way. We were the first there, but almost everyone came right away. One guest was about 30 minutes late though, and I had almost given up on him.
We had a nice meal of yakitori, sashimi and nabe. The party was a lot of fun and afterwards, we all went to karaoke. I had a great time! We stayed for 2 hours and sang a lot of different types of songs. At 12:18 the karaoke box told us time was up and we went our merry ways.
Now Fumihiko and I are unwinding over decaf coffee and I think he's planning to take a bath soon.
It was a good day. Tomorrow I don't have any plans though. I hope it's okay. Wish me luck! Night night.
