Rainy and cool.
An okay day today. I got up at a reasonable time this morning, filled up the heater with kerosene and watched the news and checked email. After that I checked the net! I've been spending a lot of time on my computer now that it's back. I'm trying to improve things and I'm still working on repairing permissions. Wow. That takes a long time.
In the morning today I prepared the tandori paste and put it on the chicken I bought yesterday. I used a brush for the first time and it made the job a lot easier.
I putzed around the house today. I did some laundry and realized quite late that I hadn't made the bed yet. Sigh. I did that, and took my shower, again, quite late.
When hubby came home around 6 he was hungry so I worked on making dinner right away. I set the table and got things ready to stir-fry or grill and then he asked if he could help. Well, actually, NO! It was too late. Still, it was nice that he offered.
Dinner was good. We had (instant) miso soup, tandori chicken, mushroom and asparagus mixed with some leftover takenoko and salad. Fumihiko ate really fast and seemed to enjoy it. Oh, we also had some decaf chai to drink. Yum. Yum.
After dinner hubby did the dishes and then he wanted to watch Corpse Bride. Since he's been requesting it all week, I let him! It was good, but I got really sleepy halfway through. I told him to keep playing it and I closed my eyes for a few seconds. Hubby made us some coffee and that helped me quite a bit.
We watched some of the bonus stuff and I got a bit of a giggle. They had interviews with the cast and director of Corpse Bride and I think that Tim Burton and Helena Bonham-Carter must go to the same hairdresser now that they are an item! They both had really crazy wild hair.
Fumihiko started to get really tired too, so he took his bath and then went to bed. He's there now, and sounds like he's fast asleep. I'm still a bit tired so I might go and join him sooner rather than later!
Tomorrow is Friday....what shall I do? A lot depends on the weather. If it's nice I might do more laundry, if it's not I might just relax!
