Sunny and warmish.
I slept in very late this morning, but I was really tired. I just felt drained when I got up. Poor me. I showered and did all my usual morning stuff though.
Out and AboutAround 2 I changed and went out. I stopped at the bank first, getting some money, then went to McDonalds for a quick lunch. It was okay. Then, I hit the drug store for some chocolate and other things, then finally I went to my school.
At the school I took down all of the Christmas decorations, did a bit of cleaning, washed the towels...they weren't dirty, I just thought it was a good idea, and checked out my lessons for Saturday. I'm glad I went in today. It gave me a chance to review and think about how to teach the classes. I also set the heater for tomorrow so it'll be nice when I arrive. I will have to remember to set the one in the lobby too for the first student's mum. She sits out there during her daughter's class.
Dinner TimeI left my school after 5 and stopped at another drugstore. I wanted to buy artificial sweetener and the first store I went to earlier didn't have my kind. The second one I went to did. Yay! I also got a couple of pairs of gloves. They are fleece gloves. I'm not sure if I'll be able to wash them, but they were very cheap, and even better than that, they fitted me perfectly! Riding bikes as I do gets cold. I love my little half finger gloves, but at night they aren't very warm. Course, I don't know how much longer I'll be able to ride my bike. The weather forecast for tomorrow says snow is coming. Boo!
I got home and had just basically sat down at my computer when Fumihiko came home. That was nice. He looked a bit tired, but not as bad as last night. After he changed he asked if I'd like to go to Bistro Des Pointes in Mikawa. Well, as it's my favourite restaurant I said,"Yes!" We drove there and wound up being their only customers of the evening. We had a fabulous meal though. We had fish marinee, salad with nama ham, pumpkin soup, then I had fish in a mushroom sauce, and Fumihiko had turkey with gobo. For dessert hubby had the most decadent looking chocolate cake-y thing with slices of orange and some grape sherbet. It looked so good. It must have been as Fumihiko insisted it was the most horrible thing he'd ever eaten. {To anyone who is new to this blog, that's a good thing. When I first started eating low-carb, Fumihiko would tell me that all the desserts were bad so that I didn't feel I was missing out. The more awful he said it was, the better it actually was!}
Down and SafeWe drove home again and discussed our evening plans. We decided to watch a video and I suggested watching The Naked Gun video I'd just bought. So, that's what we did. I think Fumihiko liked it. He loved the Airplane movies so I think if he watches this one a couple of more times he'll get even more of the jokes.
Now poor ol' hubby is sleeping on the couch. He has this thing these days where he insists that he wasn't sleeping, but he is! I say, if your eyes are closed and you're snoring...you're sleeping baby! I'll try to get him off to bed soon. Actually, to bath and then to bed.
Tomorrow is my first teaching day in two weeks. Argh! Oh well, they're all good kids tomorrow so not too bad really. Got to go! Night night.
